Vogue Paris – “Haute Couture”
A day in a carnival is enough to brighten a child’s day whenever she’s feeling blue. There are sights to see that is amazing to a child and to some adults who aren’t too jaded. Sometimes all we need is to go to a carnival and spend the day there to bring us back to a time where everything we see looks amazing. This editorial from Vogue Paris will entertain not only children for its carnival setting but also fashionable women who fancy couture dresses and fantasize wearing them one day. The editorial, titled “Haute Couture”, stars Russian supermodel Natasha Poly as a fashionable harlequin in fantastic one-of-a-kind pieces from Zuhair Murad Haute Couture, Armani Privé, Atelier Versace and many others. Vogue Paris’ Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt selected the pieces for the shoot and photographer Mario Sorrenti captured the images. The editorial is part of Vogue Paris’ April 2012 issue.
