Vogue Paris – “Le Noir Partie 2”

LN1

Black is known to be an imposing color so it is a common sight on television and movie characters whose goal is to strike fear in the hearts and minds of the viewers. This is why many serial killers or bosses from Hell are always dressed in black. This editorial from Vogue Paris sees Suvi Koponen as an imposing figure in a field to possibly scare away the crows and other trespassers while wearing high fashion garments. The editorial, titled “Le Noir Partie 2” (“Black Part 2”) is styled by Joe McKenna and he had the Finnish model in pieces from Haider Ackermann, Versace, CĂ©line and many others. The images are lensed by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for Vogue Paris’ September 2012 issue.
