Vogue Paris – “Le Noir Partie 4”

LN1

A femme fatale is a mysterious and seductive woman who uses her charms and feminine wiles to ensnare her victims in order to gain what she wants from them. Black is probably the favorite color of femme fatales everywhere as silent film actor Theda Bara, also known as “The Vamp”, was often photographed wearing black. Æon Flux of MTV is another woman who wears black whether she’s on the small screen or being portrayed in the movies by Charlize Theron. This editorial from Vogue Paris is titled “Le Noir Partie 4″ (“Black Part 4″) and it features Polish model Daria Werbowy as a seductress wearing black styled by Emmanuelle Alt. The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief used pieces from Gucci, Viktor & Rolf, Simoneta Ravizza and many others while photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott lensed the images. The editorial is part of Vogue Paris’ September 2012 issue.
