Vogue Brasil – “Viva América!”

Martín Chambi is a Peruvian photographer well-known for capturing images around Cuzco and the Andes. He photographed not only ruins and landscapes, but also people, both society figures and locals. This editorial from Vogue Brasil is titled “Viva América!” and it is inspired by Chambi’s work featuring the indigenous people of the Andes in their traditional attire. Instead of polleras and juyunas, we see the season’s best pieces with graphic prints and ethnic patterns. Brazilian model Marcelia Freesz wears pieces from Animale, Vitorino Campos, Emilio Pucci and many others styled by Daniel Ueda. The images are lensed by photographer Zee Nunes for Vogue Brasil’s October 2012 issue.
