Vogue Brasil – “Carioca Global”

Those of us who lived through the 80’s will agree that they had fun with fashion, but are now trying to forget their crazy clothing choices. It was so much fun that designers often looked to that era for inspiration and incorporated key items from that time into their collections, making them appropriate for the 21st century (or at least the current season). This editorial, titled “Carioca Global”, from Vogue Brasil features these clothes in a fun way that those who don’t like looking back to the 8o’s will want to have them in their wardrobe. Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro is garbed in pieces from DSquared2, Cia Maritima, Stella McCartney and many others styled by fashion editor Viviana Volpicella while photographer Garance Doré lensed the images. The editorial is part of Vogue Brasil’s November 2012 issue.
