Vogue Germany – “So Fern, So Nah”

The West has always looked to the Far East for inspiration when it comes to fashion so it’s not unusual to see dresses that resemble kimonos or shirts with Mao collars walking down the runway or gracing the pages of your favorite fashion glossy. This editorial from Vogue Germany features some of the Asian-inspired looks that we’ll be seeing a lot for spring. The editorial is titled “So Fern, So Nah” (“So Far, So Close”) and it stars German model Toni Garrn and Canadian male model David Chiang who look like lovers in garments from Prada, Etro, Yohji Yamamoto and many others. Vogue Germany’s Editor-in-Chief Christiane Arp did the styling on the shoot while Alexi Lubomirski lensed the enchanting images for the magazine’s December 2012 issue.

This issue also features Toni on the cover. Click here to view the image also captured by Alexi Lubomirski.
