Harper’s Bazaar España – “Pantalones”

Women have been wearing pants and trousers even before the 70s when it was popularized in the United States due to the passage of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Though pants before the 70s were worn more for their function rather than fashion it is still nice to know that women have been wearing pants to make a stand and be regarded as equal to men. This editorial from Harper’s Bazaar España features fashionable pants and trousers that should be worn by fashionable women who shun skirts and dresses. Australian model Julia Nobis wears designs by Proenza Schouler, Céline, Yves Saint Laurent and many others styled by Jay Massacret. The images are captured by Polish photographer Kacper Kasprzyk for Harper’s Bazaar España’s December 2012 issue.
