L’Officiel Thailand – “Lady Lilith”
Dante Gabriel Rossetti is a Pre-Raphaelite English poet, translator, illustrator and painter whose art was characterized by its sensuality and medieval revivalism. One of his most famous artworks is the “Lady Lilith”, an oil painting with his mistress Fanny Cornforth as the model (then later altered the face to look like Alexa Wilding). L’Officiel Thailand taps model Daria Fomina for the role of Lilith in their editorial inspired by Rossetti’s famous painting. The editorial, also titled “Lady Lilith”, features the model in pieces from Prada, Fendi, Dior and many others styled by fashion editor Pop Kampol. The images are lensed by photographer Apichart Chaichulla for the February 2013 issue of L’Officiel Thailand.
