Lanvin S/S 2013 Womenswear Campaign

There are ads that only work to sell product and there are those that are so beautiful that the images are better suited as an editorial for a top fashion magazine than a campaign. Rarely does a campaign emerge that is so breathtaking that it could work as a fashion story while still selling product. Lanvin‘s S/S 2013 campaign is one of them and the womenswear campaign features three of the world’s top models in the luxury label’s looks styled by Alber Elbaz himself. The images themselves look like they’re taken from the editorial pages of Vogue Italia since Steven Meisel lensed the campaign and Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse and Stephen Wolstenholme served as creative directors for the shoot. Steven has been photographing Vogue Italia’s covers and cover stories for more than two decades now and some of the models he’s photographed include Saskia de Brauw, Karlie Kloss and Daria Strokous who also appear in this campaign.
