Vogue Japan – “Vertigo In Her Eyes”

Vertigo In Her Eyes1

The eyes are said to be the windows to a person’s soul and if you look deeply you’ll see them for who they really are or at least what they’re feeling inside. Patricia Van Der Vliet may be feeling a little dizzy from fear in this beauty editorial from Vogue Japan, but that doesn’t stop her from looking flawless with her windows beautifully made up and full of life. The editorial, titled “Vertigo In Her Eyes”, shows the Dutch model as Melanie Daniels (originally played by Tippi Hedren) in what looks like a fashion interpretation of Sir Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds. Stylist Brian Molloy selected pieces from Proenza Schouler, Stella McCartney, Miu Miu and many others while Lacey lensed the images for the magazine’s September 2013 issue.
