Vogue Japan – “The New School Uniform”

The New School Uniform1

Going back to school may be a terrible thing for some of us. In fact, the mere thought of going back to school may induce nightmares in others. Then there are those who are fortunate enough to be popular and avoid being bullied by the mean kids. Fashionistas who’ll be going back to school (or want to dress like they’re going back to school) will appreciate this editorial from Vogue Japan titled “The New School Uniform”. Forget going preppy and instead go Hogwarts just like Bette Franke, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Lindsey Wixson and Frederik Meijnen in pieces selected by Anna Dello Russo. The editorial sees the four models looking like students of the fictional school for witches and warlocks in pieces by Miu Miu, Moschino, Chanel and many others. The images are captured by Italian photographer Giampaolo Sgura for Vogue Japan’s October 2013 issue.
