British Vogue – “In The Fold”
Simplicity really goes a long way when a woman wants to look chic and sophisticated. Simple silhouettes may seem boring to others, but when styled appropriately and carried gracefully then what seems boring at first will be exciting to those who see it. Pieces with origami-like details are sometimes enough to draw attention to the woman wearing them that having little to no accessories is okay. The point is less is more and minimalism can be the key to looking chic. This editorial from British Vogue is all about looking clean and minimalist with today’s new crop of models that are poised to take the world by storm. The editorial, titled “In The Fold”, stars models Hollie May Saker, Holly Rose Emery, Elisabeth Erm, Julia Bergshoeff, Eva Berezina, Ola Rudnicka, Madison Leyes, Betty Adewole, Julie Hoomans, Zlata Mangafic, Harleth Kuusik, Maja Salamon, Ophelie Guillermand and Anna Ewers who look austere yet graceful in pieces selected by Lucinda Chambers from Erdem, Bottega Veneta, Proenza Schouler and many others. The images are lensed by Josh Olins for British Vogue’s February 2014 issue.
