Elle España – “Ritmo Hip Hop”

Elle Spain - Marzo 2014

Music and fashion always go together and people who listen to one genre can usually be identified through what they’re wearing. For example, those who listen to rock music tend to wear black T-shirts with skull prints and ripped jeans while those who listen to country music are depicted as people who wear plaid shirts, denim jeans and a cowboy hat. This may not be true for others as this is a stereotype and it is completely up to you if you want to adopt the style that is stereotyped with the music you’re listening to. This editorial from Elle España is all about the fashion stereotype on people who listen to hip hop music. Nothing wrong with it as hip hop artists usually have the same style and they look good in it and those who listen to this music genre will understand it as well. The editorial is titled “Ritmo Hip Hop” (“Hip Hop Beat”) and it stars Russian model Anna Selezneva who looks like she’s part of the crew with musicians Lord Kossity, Duddi Wallace, Tawas and Mbaka Oko. Stylist Sylvia Montoliú did a great job by creating the hip hop looks with high fashion pieces from Chanel, Prada, Custo Barcelona and many others. The images are lensed by photographer Riccardo Tinelli and the editorial is part of Elle España’s March 2014 issue.
